Sixth Form students from Stokesley School were given an insight into how ICT is used in the workplace when they visited Opentree this week. The students, who are all currently studying ICT, were given an overview of how the business develops and supports its Cabinet software solutions across a range of sectors and geographical locations. The activity enables students to gain a better understanding of how ICT is used in real-world situations and helps them put their learning into context. Once back in college Mrs Metcalfe, ICT Computer Sciences Teacher asked them to answer a number of exam style questions based on their visit.
