We’re really pleased to be able to announce that we are creating an apprenticeship here at Opentree. Developing young people is something that we are passionate about and we’re in a very forward-thinking sector so we’re always on the look out for the next generation of software developers and support technicians.

Here at Opentree, we can offer an apprentice a great opportunity to learn and progress in a company that works with big global names such as Siemens, Tata Steel and Atkins.

Therefore we are delighted that, working alongside Hambleton District Council, we can take on a software support technician. We’re really excited to be able to recruit a new member to the team and it is a superb opportunity to join one of the UK’s top software developers.

Our world class software is used by multinational blue chip companies to manage engineering project documents across several industries. We’ve recently embarked on our next phase of growth and part of this is a commitment to expand our highly experienced support team who can give you exceptional insight into the industry.

You’ll need strong written and verbal communication skills, delivered in a confident and professional manner- these are essential when responding to our customers.

What does the job involve?

You’ll never be bored- the role offers great variety! The primary job function is to provide first line support to end users of our software. This involves troubleshooting, advising on the product’s proper use and addressing specific user issues. In addition, you’ll be liaising between the customer and second line support during the resolution process.
